THE STORY BEHIND THE PERFUME
More than ten years ago, Xerjoff introduced the perfume Alexandria in the Oud Stars Collection. This contained a rare strain of oud, making it one of the first of its kind and which was only available in limited quantities.
Alexandria quickly became a huge success, with huge demand from all over the world. However, because the specific oud used was no longer available, Sergio Momo decided to create a sequel: Alexandria II. Although the fragrance notes were similar, a different oud was used than that in the original Alexandria.
Alexandria II became one of Xerjoff's best-selling perfumes. To celebrate more than a decade of meticulous craftsmanship, Alexandria II Anniversary was created, featuring a very special oud from Tarakan in the Borneo Islands.

Alexandria II Anniversary begins with the deep, sensual notes of Bulgarian rose, cumin and cardamom, which merge seamlessly in the heart with the most luxurious and valuable ingredient in the world: oud.
The precious Tarakan oud, collected from the Bornean jungle, adds a unique character to the composition and ends with a warm embrace of musk and vanilla from Madagascar, blended with Australian sandalwood.
This sophisticated fragrance is presented in an opulent and shiny new look.
